Wonder Girls Discography

Wonder Girls (원더걸스) is a girl group under JYP Entertainment. They debuted February 11th, 2007 on M!Countdown with their single “Irony”
Wonder Girls is considered the first girl group of the 10th generation of producer Park Jin-Young. Each girl studied under the agency for 1-2 years before their debut (with the exception of Ye Eun, who had three months), and the group debuted in February 2007 with the song “Irony” from their debut mini-album. Because JYP Entertainment hadn’t released a girl group for 10 years, their popularity rose from curiosity.
The group has had several health-related incidents since their debut. In late June 2007, So Hee tore a knee ligament when she fell off a motorcycle during filming for the film “I Like it Hot“. On July 30th, 2007, Hyun A left the group reportedly because of her parents’ concern of her chronic gastroenteritis. (She was later replaced by Yoo Bin.) In September 2007, the members of Wonder Girls were involved in a car accident in which their van hit a taxi, which killed the taxi driver. All members (as well as their manager and stylist) were hospitalized for a short while with minor injuries.
In addition to their music, the group has been signed onto an advertising contract for a clothing brand as models. The group also has a reality show on MTV Korea called “MTV Wonder Girls”, which began broadcast December 22nd, 2006.
