    I think the standard for reviewing should be:

    “Would a person who is interested in this genre/style/era/singer/actor/director like it or not? Is it what one would expect, or better or worse than expected?”

    The ratings matter more with movies, since they take up more disk space and take longer to download.

    completely agree with you, akira. just in case people don’t know, i do have a history of who vote, and what they vote, so i’ll start to act if i detect abusive voting. please vote only AFTER listening/watching the stuffs. i really don’t want to ban anyone’s ip.

    Well I didn’t give a low rating but I can see why someone did mostly because there’s nothing in this album that says originality or renovation. It’s basically the same Miriam as it was 10 years ago just more glamour’d up and placed on a more modern background.

    Thanks Viet for posting, I didn’t think the album was bad at all just cantopop suffers from the stagnation disease, everything is always the same. D:

    Here are the song titles in Mandarin Pinyin.

    [But only one song is in Mandarin, the rest are in Cantonese. I once tried to learn Cantonese, but every Cantonese speaker I asked or tried to speak to said, "You no need learn Cantonese. Just a dialect. You learn Mandarin!" So that's why the Cantonese song titles remain untranscribed... Anyway, if you're in Taiwan or that other Chinese-speaking entity, almost everyone will be referring to the songs by their mandarin titles.]

    It’s not necessary, but it’d be good if people could leave a comment with very high or low ratings.

    I mean, for example, it would be different if a fan gave this one star, than one star from someone who just cant stand Canto-Pop.
