Oh, and thanks for the narration, akira
i’m older than her, but still not shy to admit i love to watch her stuffs. Shida Mirai was so cute in tantei gakuen q.
Visitors can vote any way they want, it’s ok with me as long as these votes are AFTER they watch/listen. Spamming the rating system by their pre-existing bias without even knowing the contents is not welcomed. That’s why I capitalized the word “AFTER”.
A note on ratings.
Looking over the ratings for September, it seems that Japanese music & movies generally get 4-5 stars [even the execrable Mr.Children!]; Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese: 1-3 1/2 stars.
I tend to agree. I think Japanese movies were mostly imaichi [crappy!] about ten years ago. Stupid unbelievable [SU] acting, SU plots, SU dialogue, SU everything. Lots of uma no ashi [horse's legs, ham actors]. The quality seems to have improved a lot. [Except for "Trick" of course.]
There was a run of good Korean movies about 5 years ago, but now … blaaah.
Realism is never a strong component in HK film-making, and it’s a law that 47% of all movies have to have an “embarrassing” shower scene.
Red Chinese movies are inflicted as punishment in laogai, in the hope that inmates will kill themselves, saving the authorities the trouble of shooting them.
Taiwanese movies are very “art-house”-kusai.
I look forward to great music and movies from Free Vietnam!
95.7% of Korean pop music is DIRE. It’s mostly imaichi copies of the worst J-Pop mixed with dishwasher sounding “R’n'B” “beats” and rich suburbanite Korean students and would-be bankers who spent a year in Seattle trying their bst to sound “black” with infinitely annoying “YO!”s and “HEY!”s.
Anyway, going by the ratings, apparently most people agree with me [Okay, maybe not with my suicide and shootings and shower scenes and would-be bankers commentary...]
For people wondering whether to download:
This is a 23 min TV show [i.e half hour minus ads] in which two goofy guys, one tall one short, interview a cute tiny 15 year old actress and some “giant” woman who is wearing high-heels to accentuate her “unbelievable” head-in-the-clouds height [176cm].
Anyway, then someone wanders around town and discusses a bizarre “Jomon” building.
Then they make giant food and banter.
Then after the show the shrimpy guy tries to pick up the 15 year old, and the “tall” guy takes the gigantor back to his love shack in Shinjuku San-chome.
Okay, I just made up one of the previous statements.
Download if you’re a fan of cute 15 year old girls [she doesn't have a bf @ school BTW] or beanpole chicks, or not-so-attractive-but-good-sense-o-humour guys, or supersize meals.
AV quality: Excellent [I mean Audio-Visual, not Adult Video!]
