Synopsis

Google Street View
For those who live in the US, and driving, google map is a very useful tool. I know, because I use it almost every long trip myself. However, I never find their “street view” feature of any use, which literally show you the view of that street from a car’s point of view. When it first came out, there were some people complaining about privacy issues, but to no avail, as the images were taken from the streets, clearly public places. It is up to Google themself to decide whether they want to “satisfy” people or not, and to their credit, they generally did.
That’s a while back. Google just rolled out their “street view” feature in Japan, a much much more crowded country than the US, not long ago. Hilarity ensues !!!
