   Great movie! Got my VCD from Hong Kong. Takuya Kimura is once again….charismatic as an actor!

   pokute: it’s good to know, thanks for the info. back in the days, japanese movies (and music for that matter) usually have the best rip of all, although now the koreans have catched up with their hd files. i sometimes wonder whether it is a real job or not , but these guys are good at what they are doing, hehe.

    I bought the Japanese Region 2 dvd of this movie (I did the QC on the subs for the dvd version of the tv show, with Vulcan300 fansubs, so I really wanted the original dvd of this). The transfer is incredibly bad. The files available here are as good as the dvd (and the subs are from the dvd - it was released in Japan with English subs!!), so no matter how much you like it, I recommend NOT buying this dvd!!

    This makes the second bad transfer I have seen this year on J Region 2 dvd’s. ALWAYS was an even worse transfer than Hero… Pretty sad, especially considering how much these dvd’s cost.
