S.E.S is the first Korean girlband to debut under SM Entertainment. The trio (along with two other girl groups Baby V.O.X and FinKL) dominated the pop scene during the late 90’s. They were one of the very first Korean groups to have debuted in Japan and other foreign countries.
The trio disbanded when their contract was up but it is rumored that they will regroup and release an album soon. Unfortunately, some complications with the member’s management agencies make it difficult for the trio to release a new album. All three of them are signed under different management agencies: Bada is under UuongJinKoWare Entertainment, Eugene is under PFULL Entertainment, and Shoo is still under SM Entertainment.
S.E.S stands for the first letter of all three singers name: Sea (Bada), Eugene, Shoo.

Damn, this takes me courage to start this project. 50 episodes ? Jezz. I have not had time to watch the first couple of episodes yet, and the only reason why I’m doing this is because the drama is Vietnamese related. Better not disappoint me.

Synopsis
Jin Joo is a half Korean and Vietnamese girl who marries a Korean man, Kang Jun Woo, in order to come to Korea to look for her biological father who abandoned her. The drama is not only about her searching for her dad but also about the cultural differences between her and her husband’s family. There is bad blood between the two families, Kim and Kang. The rivalry is even more fueled since Ji Young is still in love with her ex-boyfriend, Jun Woo, even though she is married to Young Min. Kang Sae Mi is Jun Woo’s sister and Kim Young Soo is Young Min’s younger brother. They want to get married but both families oppose their marriage which leads to the two young lovers living together and expecting a baby out of wedlock. Kang Won Mi is the thoughtless, old maid elder sister of Jun Woo.
